Our History
In 1992 Wal Dobson (Viking Printing) and Nick Freeman (Caxton Press) formed The Pressworks Printing Group. After the last fifteen or so years and over 200 million printed pages later, we reckon we've got it just about right. Starting with small offset presses, Pressworks Printing has evolved to enjoy a reputation as a boutique style print shop focusing on producing high quality, competitively priced printing with both Directors employing a hands on approach at all times with our clients.
With winning awards at the "National Print Awards" for excellence in print, it was only a matter of time before we out grew our premises at Brookvale. In 2002, Pressworks Printing moved to our current purpose fitted out factory in Thornleigh. With close proximity to the F3 and M2 Freeway, it allows us to service almost every area of Sydney. Along with our new factory came our new 5 colour press and bindery equipment.
2005 became yet another important year for Pressworks Printing and it's clients, with the installation of a new Prepress Workflow System and CTP (Computer to Plate) system to further enhance our reputation for quality and service.
